Yes I think it's not continued sponsorship, Crimea was Gresini's sponsor in 2010, then went to Supersport to Step Racing with Vladimir Ivanov of Ukraine whose team mate was Rea, now came back to Gresini with Rea.
Altough last year Gresini had Crimea-like number plates, it's interesting, maybe they liked it so much.

Two different liveries within the same team???

The last time this this nonsense got tried in F1 (1999) it was squashed pretty quick. Both cars need to be painted pretty much the same, so BAR ran their two cars with one half in Lucky Strike colours and the other half in 555 colours, which was a much better solution ...NOT

It's give a whole new reason to "show the flag marshal both sides of your bike"

I don't think too there is anything strange about two liveries for the same team. Wilairot always had different livery to his team mates (at the Stop and Go team) because of his special Thai sponsors.
