Read crash.net motogp section all the time. Would love to see a few improvements to the site.

1. A mobile version, or at least removal of the flash ads. Open crash.net on an iPhone and you gotta stop it loading before it loads the flash ad and an unknown object is displayed.

2. A better interface for doing online polls. There are plenty of 3rd party libraries and services out there. Crash.net polls seem built on top of forum comments or using some unsuitable tech. It feels clunky and wrong.

3. Better photo gallery interface, when looking at photos on the side it shows the Next 3 and Prev 3 photos, giving you no idea really where about you are in the gallery. Once again feels clunky when loads of different services and stuff out there.

Love the articles + comments, they just some updates that'd be good.

@E

I'm not going to help you with 1. because removing ads looses crash.net revenue, all I'll say is I haven't seen an ad on the internet for about 2 years now. I can't help with 2. but with 3. you can get an add-on for firefox called autopager and I've made a rule for the site which I'll publish later so stories appear in one screen (well the second page loads when you get to the bottom of the 1st one) and the pictures load one after the other (again as you scroll down), annoyingly you still have to click on each for high-res but its a temporary fix.

Was not saying removing ads, just a mobile version of the site, that serves image based ads instead of Flash ads. Images ads would be preferable I'd say on the main site too as flash ads are easily blocked by firefox and chrome (and probably more) using AdBlocker extension.
Thanks for response, not giving out about crash.net but when away from my desk I read it on iphone and its not an easy experience.

Lol I didn't want to spell it out cos AbBlockers must piss em off. I think they'd probably benifit from a news app for a small fee too, don't know why they only did a pit-babes one.

FYI site works great on Android :P

lol nutter... it does work just fine on android... as does most things, and if not just open it with firefox and its all good... but the android is of course the inferior system lol... so they say anyways but seeems like the iphone owners are the ones always having problems

i run ghostery on firefox and it blocks all the ad crap... anywhere from 8 to 12 usually get blocked on crash... it saves me from having millions of cookies building up
