,nothing is revealed in at the first practice, including Yamaha progress to keep up with the Hondas. Patience before predictions!Normalcy will be resumed by the end of the weekend. The only non-surprise is Hayden. Even with the BS frame change (obviously no difference between the Stoner/Carbon frame and the Rossi/Beam frame, numbers don't lie). The Ducati still needs to be ridden differently, then the Jap bikes and Nicky as many more miles on one than VR. If he has the stones to pass Valentino (because he has the speed), Nicky could be Ducati's highest finisher by season end. Oh how the mighty have fallen..

A quote from experts at the track instead of people looking at times on their computer and thinking they know everything - "Valentino Rossi on hard tires with Andrea Dovizioso".
Why would these two be testing on the harder tyres :?

@VR46 ... maybe because as Jorge stated at Sepang the soft tire has grib but loses it very quickly after 4-6 laps. The smart thing to do is get good pace with the hard rubber so you can be strong to finish the race.

Well fellas I am saddened to report that Mr VR showed up in his garage around 11:00 this morning and until 11.30 was not in the track. (this info is from the gpone.com site)
This is completely and clearly unprofessional of him and a big disappointment for all of us supporting him onway or another. I can't imagine what the excuse will be this time or what might have changed between him and Ducati to leed to such behaviour.

In any case I would suggest to him to resign now and let us remember him as he was in Laguna Seca and other races of the past.
