MotoGP » Valentino Rossi still far from the 'front'

“I can't load the front enough to enter fast, so I don't carry enough speed through the corner, and that's why we're far from the front”- Valentino Rossi.

wonder what happened between the "best front-end" in the 1st test to the "same old bad front-end" in the 2nd and 3rd test?? Whatever they changed is obviously a move in the wrong direction. Also the bike just doesn't look fast and sleek (rather old fashion).
I think it's time to get rid of that balky under-tail exhaust and use a shortie out of bottom left. A sleek, aero (and light) tail will remove some weight high in the back end and allow the fuel tank lowered and the seat moved forward. Even an inch or 2 will make a big difference. Unless they want to go with the big change - the engine itself, which I think it's too late for the game...

"@Legend.No mate,it is only the Rossi fans who are worried.Noone else is!"

@take the blinkers off guys!

Nothing to do with Rossi fans. 80% of the posts are from people who hate him and take any opportunity to post their opinions about him. Stoner is World Champion, Lorenzo was the 2010 World Champion.

However, whenever there is a post about Rossi, there are 10x as many posts from Rossi haters on his threads than his actual fans. What does this say? I say he is IN YOUR HEAD!

Even when he fails, the haters post more than the riders the support that succeed!

Even if he retires in 2012, you will be still be hating on him. If Rossi retires at the end of 2012 and there is a story about Stoner clinching his 3rd WC, if there is a story about Rossi sneezing on a bus, it will still gain more posts than Stoner's win. Mainly from haters. Why do you think that is?

Haha..let's remind ourselves shall we?

18 races, 5 crashes(own fault), 4th in the standings..finishing behind Rossi who missed 4 races with a busted leg and Dani who missed 3 with a busted collar-bone.
Casey had 3 races off the year before with?..a poorly tummy!

That's not's brain out. Much like the majority of posters.

Take away electronic aids and this guy would struggle..just like he did in 2006.

It is quite clear that the bike isn't suited to Rossi and more towards Hayden. Rossi is a front end rider where as Hayden is a rear end rider.

It seems Ducati's investment in a new chassis has only paid off for one rider, thats gotta hurt.

"Where's the 80% rider 20% bike in these results Mr Rossi."

I so love it when dumb people say this. This was a quote from Burgess 10 years ago, yes, 2002, 10 years before the.... oh heck, who cares anymore... LOL!
