Forget what Capirex ever done on it,one bad crash off winning the championship.That 07 bike had a lot going for it when honda and Yammy were still running valve springs,not knocking Stoner but after 07 it wasn't gonna happen again.

alot of ppl like to talk smack and tell a 7 time world champion that he needs to ride the duc like casey did in 2010... these people conviniently forget how many DNFs stoner had trying to push that thing

the ducati is a dog of a bike. it made melandri - a race winner - finished last in every race which ultimately cost him his place in motogp. hayden, a world champion is now just a mid field rider you dont expect to win races and rossi, i mean do i even need to go there? 5 seasons in a row dominating the class and still making it fun to watch.

the duc is just a ****ty bike fullstop, props to stoner for doing as well as he did on it

@malaco: you must me a strong Rossi fan and there is nothing wrong with that...

I just think it's wrong to badmouth the motorcycle without realizing some facts. I won't go into details but I will say this.

Even if the Ducati was a bad machine when Rossi got to riding it, everything has been changed according to Rossi... it has been over a year now. what does that tell you?

One more question? What motorcycle do you ride?

@ ducatisiti

the only facts i know is that the duc made 2 world champions average riders and destroyed a 3rd. stoner is the only one who could do anything with it.

@asefi

how can you call someone who has won multiple titles on 2 different bikes (1 on a privateer) "not as good" ?

a lot of you Stoner fans really need to cop on. Casey is amazing, but just because he's amazing does not make Rossi bad ...

@ malaco

Stoner is the best rider out there...and that is not news....he showed it on the Desmocedici over the years.

So if it was the bike, why can't Rossi fix it or even adapt to it? it certainly isn't for the lack of resources. Stoner outgrew Rossi, happens all the time in all sports.

I will even say that Rossi would also be struggling if he was still on Yamaha.
