MotoGP » Stoner: We can still improve the bike quite a bit

“We were really pleased with the lap times but I think we can still improve the bike quite a bit before the race here” – Casey Stoner.

The armchair experts are saying that Pedrosa was the better at long runs than Casey without providing one iota of proof. Stoner put on worn tires, filled the tank and did a heap of laps under 1:40 on Sunday. He did a full race simulation on Friday and most laps were under 1:40. I think the anti-Stoner brigade are dreaming again...

Is Stoner getting good also at mind games? More than that he probably is being sincere.

I hope he doesn't improve that much, because I am wanting for the closest races possible and hope that Lorenzo (or Pedrosa, as I don't see everybody else) can run at Stoner's pace and battle him for the race wins...

well i guess both casey and jlo is asking themselves Vale who? who dat? bwahahahah. Im not Bashing Vale but i think the suppose to be pair made in heaven with an Italian rider on an italian horse isnt what exactly being expected or being showen and that's coming from a former 9 time champ. 1 lesson to be learned from last year till now is that Ducati can never behave like Yamaha and Honda. Ducati is foolish enough to think that they can copy the characteristics of these 2 machines in which features power and handling.

Dani also made a great race simulation today and ended the tests very "satisfied", which is not usual. Don't ignore the little alien, he can spoil someone's party.

Filled tank? sure? and if that was true... there's the chance his tyres just fall down after 20 laps. Ten fast laps doesn't mean a full race.

That's not TRUE, just check motogp.com, his longest simulation on Friday was 6 laps.
