MotoGP » 'Pleased' Valentino Rossi bins 'bad setup'

“We made some mistakes at Sepang II chasing a bad set-up. We changed the set-up, first the rear and then the front, and now I enter the corners pretty well again” – Valentino Rossi.

@amfan

It could be PR spin or could it be the fact they were changing the set up a lot during the day so the lap times were gradually improving utill his fastest laps towards the end of the day. Or do you expect someone to set fast laps the whole day even though they are heavily modifying the setup?

It seems like he didn't do a race simulation because they had too much set-up work to do, other teams were already in the position to do a full race sim as their set ups are more final.

I can see Rossi fighting for podiums after some races. He looks pretty stressed, something unusual for Vale.
If he gets the proper help, including help from Nicky, he will find his way to the top very soon.

This is the best good sing for an intersting and spectacular championship!

Nick 881, you might want to reread this article, because Crash added the 13 lap race stint Rossi did after he set his fastest lap, and his fastest lap in that stint was a 1:40.7,and his average lap was a 1:41.1 .
