'Cal Crutchlow carries the weight of British expectation on his shoulders, and his testing has gone well' - Steve Parrish

I actually like to watch the race on BBC. At least there are no advert breaks. I also don't mind Charlie Cox and Steve Parrish, at least they throw in a bit of humour in what can sometimes be a tedious race! Julien Ryder and Toby Moody tend to harp on a bit too much about their own particular favourite rider who just happens to be the one that won the last race!!

I know what ppl mean re Cox (doesn't seem to know much about the sport and makes lots of mistakes) but I don't mind too much, as Parrish is ok and quite funny, and Matt Roberts is good too. BBC provide No where near enough coverage tho.

As for squeaky Toby Moody, too annoying...

Ideal team: Mamola, Edwards, Parrish, Ryder, Jamie Witham

Think you'll find Toby Moody has sold out and went to 4 wheels.

Don't knock bbc they do a good job, commentators are a bit sometimes but likewise Julian and Toby witter on and miss a lot of whats going on around them, smarmy know it alls with masses of paper in front of them trying to be just to clever.

I do watch it on Eurosport but if I have to wait that hour I wont.

"The action gets under way next weekend in Qatar, with the race live on the 'red button' from 7.30pm on Sunday, April 5 and repeated on BBC One and BBC One HD at 11.20pm."

Sunday April 5th? Err...wrong year calendar Crash?

+1 for the BBC, I think the most important thing about them showing it is it brings motorcycle racing to the masses, the sports audience is in danger of shrinking and new rules and regs mean that its likely to loose its prototype status soon which may shrink the audience further. The fact that its on the BBC means that, for now, its being taken seriously.

Plus I think Cox is pretty funny, 'like a pig through hot strawberries' Pahahaha that one still kills me :D

If I'm honest I'll still watch it on the BBC - only because I'm an impatient b****r and can't wait for the delayed Eurosport coverage. Overall it's not that bad...

I could do with less of the "3rd armpit/across the stripe/that bike has some Mumbo" comments from Cox though....
