So it is still sat on the red button, not made and actual channel yet... obviously single mums whos tv licence is paid for them so they can watch shoite is still the major market what about moto2 and moto3 race? what about qualifying? Will they be starting the program as they did at Laguna where it finally comes on and the lights have just gone out?! Matt Roberts is ok and so is Azi Farni, both useful on Twitter too. Charlie Cox is as his name suggests. Shame that Eurosport will be delayed coverage as currently it is still superior.

The point about moto2 and moto3 was lost in the editting of that post! It says they will be showing them on the red button, as well as qualifying but how long til that starts falling by the wayside? They didn't make much of an appearence in 2011.

Faaaaaar better coverage than Speedtv here in the States. I watched a couple of races with BBC streaming on the laptop along with the TV on Speed. Speed's "live coverage" starts about 5 or 6 laps behind when the actual race starts yet ends just about when the race ends. Why? Advertising Commericals. The whole thing is only an hour. So when it comes on they do the prerace run down of the grid order and if anything happen in QP or Practice. And they go to commericals after that. So about time the race starts on Speed, the actual race is about 5 to 6 laps in. Within the race they skip about 3 or 4 laps with commericals to end the program exactly at the 1 hour mark. It sucks bad. The announcers aren't bad (Gavin Emmett and some other guy) but the actual coverage is lacking.

In Spain they show all 3 races plus Friday practice and more, for free of course. It's even on the national news. Oh and they don't have TV licenses. In the UK you get scammed for inflating your car tyres. Don't know of any other country that does that.

And, tell you what I like about the BBC coverage - the extra behind the scenes stuff and interviews with riders. Also, love the pre-race demonstration by Cox and Parrish when they go round the track on something daft!! Did you see then re-enacting the "pushing and shoving" between Valentino and Jorge from last year - soooo funny!!

I download the races on "racingforme" formerly "Racing Underground" It costs nothing and they save to your hard drive. You have to wait a few hours but it's worth it. They have all categories as well including F1

The BBC love MotoGP so much that the opening race is shoved to the red button. Their post show is always a red button feature as well and never appears on iplayer. Why dont they just do the honourable thing and let Eurosport have the rights and show highlights/rerun at a time it suits them. Win /win for everyone.
