I really hope he goes "balls out" this season and gets some more good luck come his way because of it. Given the difficulty of securing a ride for 2012, I think this is more likely than not.

Aussie Bob I hope you are right it seems to be me that they have a bit of revolving door policy. However if Damian wasn't cutting the mustard then at the end of the day it is a business. I just hope it is a competitive machine and the mercurial nature of Westy is simply due to an uncompetitive bike. We will see.

Qmmf team have shocking reputation, which combined with West's inability to get on with anyone will mean He will be back fulfilling his original plan very soon of washing cars in Australia.

They could do a movie on the trials and tribulations of this guys life. So many highs and lows! I think they should call it...errrmmmm..."The North, South, East and Anthony West".

All the best Westy! Make sure you beat your team mate or you'll never hear the end of it...she's a girl!

As an Aussie I'm glad to see Westy back but I feel for Damo Cudlin. He is a racer and his best results always come on race day. To not get the chance to show his worth in even 1 race must be hard to swallow. Westy has talent, but I don't think this is the team to show it in. Cardus and Mashel were towards the back of the grid with this team last year and I don't see that changing in a hurry. I wish him luck though.

Get Tommy Bridewell on the S1000RR! Didn't fancy West in BSB anyway on a small team budget. Back of Moto 2 or back of BSB probably comes down to the pay cheque. Tommy needs a ride!

Sorry but this is Ant West running true to form......and if the bike/team aren't perfect he'll soon be on a downward spiral blaming all those around him.
You can't go dumping on teams that have invested time and money in you and still retain any credibility.... loyalty and commitment are a big thing in this sport and to bounce around like Ant does putting self interest to the fore all the time makes him few friends and taints him as untrustworthy. No doubt he has great talent on the bike when it suits him but those occurences are few & far between. Can't see this new relationship lasting, just hope Damo gets a ride, maybe swap places?

Maybe QMMF needs to figure out why they are not able to work with riders to improve the bike , instead of assuming it's the riders fault.

It is not as though this is a scenario like Toni Ellias who has a unusual riding style , and even so he has managed to find a set-up that suits him in Moto2.

What happened to trying to progress through a season and develop a bike around a driver ? Was it because he was being compared to Elena Rosell that they lost confidence in Damian? There must be some particular reason that they do not rank Damian anymore , otherwise all the bottom teams would be changing their riders.

Most riders tend to struggle in a relative sense when they move to a new bike or series , take early last year as an example.

Either give the guy a proper chance or pay money for a rider that has been in Moto2 with a similiar bike (not likely). It is not as though QMMF is all of a sudden expecting points in the early season anyway.

Seems like a hard team to work for ,
