'The fact we are racing at night and with a film of sand on the track always makes for difficult racing but I still like it a lot' - Toni Elias

I'm a Rossi fan, but never felt upset about that incident mentioned above. Honestly, how many times has Vale made a ballsy overtake & sent someone into the kitty litter? Still love the guy though. Hope Nico can cope with a field of bikes sharing the same engine. Last year was his to lose based on his bike/team superiority.

How many times has Rossi cost someone a wc by knocking them off?

Elias will look back on his career knowing his only purpose was to hand hayden the 2006 title.

Nadal, how does your butt still hurt more than five years later?

Rossi was leading the championship heading into the final round and crashed out. He lost that WC on his own.

Maybe had he not lost first place by 0.002 seconds at Estoril he might have been champion. Who won that race anyway?

@ Nadal

I'm with Pffft on this one.

Elias is the guy that BEAT ROSSI to the line in Estoril 2006. That's why he lost the title.

He also crashed in the last race with an 8 point lead. Talk about choking.

Anyway, I hope Elias regains his form again. Sucks to see him languish in last place all the time.
