There's some awesome journalism. Why not an article simply requesting Crazy Casey Haters and Rabid Rossi Haters to post their uninformed diatribes?

Ducati's bike has been increasingly uncompetitive, so much so that the relative skill of the riders has been factored out of any possible success. Maybe they'll get a few podiums this year, but probably not.

@Magneto Stoner probably wasn't gonna get a podium in that race anyway, Rossi was way faster than him that's why he closed a huge gap in a few laps.

anon - nice baiting comment. But just in case you are being serious, and thats no too hard to beleive if your a Rossi fan of course, the reason Rossi was quicker is because he was riding too fast for the conditions, hence the crash. Its pretty obvious really. Would more than likely have been 18 if Rossi hadnt have knocked him over with his ambtion clearly outweighing his talent.

Just think how many it might have been if Stoner was on a Yamaha or a Honda like Rossi. It doesnt bare thinking about really. Just think how many titles he would have too. Scary. Luckily for Rossi and Co, Stoner was stuck with Ducati for a good few years, otherwise we would see the true definition of domination im sure. .

1. Suggesting that anon is 'stupid' because he is a Rossi Fan is in itself stupid.

2. Quoting what Stoner said after said race as your own does not make you cool.

3. The last paragraph is worthless conjecture. You might as well say "I would have the best stats in the world if I had the best bike and was the best rider". Stoner did have a Honda once and I remember it being thrown on the ground an awful.

There is no need to argue about the 2 riders. Rossi was once the best and Stoner is currently the best. Who will be the best this year is to be seen (I guess stoner based on last years performance). I hope both do well and we can see some actual racing for once rather than boring time trials.

stoner heard vale coming and gave him plenty of room to pass , there was no need to push so hard at that point , it was a racing incident that happens all too often in any race , as dennis noyes says...vale was so desperate to put a wheel in front of casey stoner he just went in too hot in wet conditions and lost it.
i agree with his words , can only imagine what vale was thinking when he found himself right behind stoner on his old bike that was used against him for so many years with great effect.
thats racing , its over and done , though i believe if the crash never happened vales chances of beating stoner by the end of the race was close to nil.

I think Ago has had many more consecutive podiums than that considering all the classes (and back than it was not automation all the best ended in the top class, so I think it should be taken into account).
