I've been saying he was a waste of space for ages. People ignored his previous failures once he won at Assen but he is sub par the majority of the time.

He qualifies badly, then finishes about 5th or 6th and people say he could have been up there with casey and jorge if he had qualified better and gotten a better start.

I predict Spies will be racing with the likes of Rossi and Dovisioso.

Yikes - I hate to say starting to look like last year with the odd issues but this kinda feels like it. If I remember right last year here he ran a good race but had a strange start. I can see binning it but to have your spare bike have an electrical issue does not sound right no matter what.

I'm actually glad he pushed it too hard and lost the front end. I think we need to see a bit more of that until he figures out how far he can push it in the begining of races - been waiting for him to due that for a couple years now :) Keep pushing it and don't back off!

Best of luck and go Ben!

lol

Oh please.

He's been fast in the 1st 2 sessions and has been battling with the leaders. If he crash in the 3rd session and had been slow in the first 2 than I could see a need to worry. But no that's not the case. Because his #2 bike had some issuses that couldn't be fixed in a timed session is nothing to get all bent out of shape about and say the sky is falling.

Ah not saying that at all Dawg! Was just hoping he'd have a less eventful start of the year this time. You know what I mean :)

Hope it doesn't make him slow up some on the first couple laps of the race though. Here's to a good qualifying run tomorrow though!
