MotoGP » Dark night for 'worse' Rossi

"The problems that we had before were worse... we'll also look at Nicky's data and try to do better" – Valentino Rossi.

What fickle memories some fans have.
All this rossi so called hate comes from the rossi camp since 2007, when they tried to spoon feed everybody from media to Rossi fans to any motogp fans. That Casey stoner wasn't a champion rider since winning the 2007 championship

Rossi and his camp really wanted everybody to believe that it was the Ducati bike and not Casey stoner,

And you know what serves him right Rossi has been trying to play these so called tactics all his career with past riders but who know what stoner nor Lorenzo are falling for it

How many more excuses will Rossi use this year, I recall rossi saying in motogp it was 70% rider 30% bike if that is the case makes him look even more dumb and yet people believe and hang to his ever word. Karma is a bitch and serves him right for trying to not credit Casey stoner for his past achievements

We all know rossi used to say it was the rocket ship of Ducati but hey look at the times chap and you will see who ha the fastest times y

"I recall rossi saying in motogp it was 70% rider 30% bike"

No he didn't. You are making that up, as well as pretty much every other silly quote. Go to bed!

Rossi on Haydens settings might spring a few surprises. They (Ducati) seem to have them both trying different directions for a reason, halving the development time of the bike which is still in it's infancy.
I see a top 8 finish for both within reason, not great, but certainly a big jump for Vale from where he currently sits. I guess we don't have long until there are some proper answers.
Looks like the Yamahas are off to a flier so let's hope for some nice close racing.

truth is that Rossi was never as good as people thought he was, when you have weak competition and the best bike, anyone can look like a god

You're wrong! Saying he is not as good as people thought is ridiculous because he is not the same rider as he was at the end of 2010, certainly not the same rider as the beginning of 2010. He is the GOAT if you take is 2000-2010 career but this Rossi is not the GOAT, he is a shadow of his former self, don't compare this Rossi to the Rossi prior the Mugello crash. I am a Rossi fan but the Rossi of a few years ago would have just taken it by the scruff of the neck and ridden it.

@Laim48
Mate, he is being paid to be the same rider so people expect him to be the same performer.
No point in picking dates to compare people as you are only as good as your last ride and that goes for EVERY rider not just Rossi.

If you believe he wont produce the goods I think you may be wrong but if you are right, then he will take Ducati out of Motogp along with himself

I on the other hand, want him to step up so we have a good all over race season.

BTW I am NOT, never have been and most likely never will be a Rossi fan but that doesn't mean I want him to fail.

@Poddy I see your point.

It doesn't really seem to refer to what I said though!

I was simply commenting about a completely ridiculous comment that someone posted earlier on and why he shouldn't be saying Rossi "isn't as good as people thought" and I was simply saying he shouldn't compare the previous Rossi to the Rossi of the past year.

@How soon they forget
It's funny you said that, even if he doesn't win again he still beat stoner 3 times already, or did you forgot that Stoner also rode the 990 before the 800's. Some people have the memory span of a fly 's life in other words about a days worth. No competition please. Gibernau, Biaggi, Lorenzo, Stoner, Pedrosa, and you still call this no competition. Get your facts straight man!!!!

After all these comments of hatered against Vale...i dnt think anyone can still count him off in the race...as long as Vale's out there, the familiar question still remains in his fans and haters minds...what if....let the racing begin...

He beat Stoner three times? Since they started riding in the same class, Rossi has won two WC's, Stoner has won 2 WC's, Rossi has won 26 races, Stoner has won 33. Get YOUR facts straight, and take your head out of those yellow panties.
