"The problems that we had before were worse... we'll also look at Nicky's data and try to do better" – Valentino Rossi.

Well there you go. The Ducati is the fastest bike out there on one of the calender's fastest circuits.
Nightblindness next? I guess. Moaner.
I watched him do his usual stretch, adjust the ...blah,stand on the pegs. Don't he realise his opposition don't buy into superstition anymore ?
Audi want to buy out bankrupt Ducati as do Fiat.
Ducati sales are skyrocketing, but they are up for sale as corporate. Why ? Overextended thanks to...
add a name,a fantasy and a dream.

I see that there are some experts here in throwing people down. ALL I can say about you, is that it is very easy to knock someone down when they are already down.

That being said, I must say Ive been vey disapointed with all the fuss around Rossi-Ducati case. I think that there is no excuse at all for Rossi being the last prototype on the grid, but I say that in three or four races we will see if there is any solution for this nightmare. If not, I hope they split, cause they are ruining both reputations, but most of all Rossi s rep.

Rossi's teammates... up until 2008 had been an utter joke. I find it amazing how long Rossi had Edwards as his whipping boy for, only for Yamaha to go against his wishes and sign up a certain double 250cc champion.

Am pretty shocked to see Rossi this far down . The bike is obviously capable of more as proved by Hayden , and with absolutely no disrespect to him Rossi is a much better rider . He is a man who has won 9 world titles 7 of which in the top flight of racing , riding 6 different bikes if you count 125 , 250 aprilias ,500 honda , 990 honda , 990 yamaha and 800 yamaha .

Anyone who says he's just had the best bikes through his career is just an idiot , yes he's had good bikes but he's ridden them better than anyone else .

As a fan i've been waiting for him to get it together and i hope he still does , but at the moment all i see is a man who is defeated . He is not a rider who is 1.2 secs slower than Hayden , absolutely no way ,,, But at the moment he is .

Personally i think he will have a better race and maybe even beat hayden but if he is over 30 seconds away from the winner i think he's gonna have to look at himself and ask is it time to step back ,,,, i hope not :-(

You bunch of numpties! You don't win as many world championships as Rossi has done without owning a massive talent. Don't forget what Rossi and Burgess did with the Yamaha in 2004. People seem to have bad memories!

Shamarone talking sense for once. The screamer L-4/Trellis was the gun. As they softened the thing up to accomodate Melandri, the thing went backwards in terms of results.
The Ducati is one hell of a motorcycle on and off track. A fantastic Italian marque. Fact is borne out of history books from GP to SBK. Italian riders seem to always come off second best with it. Thats just a fact. Rossi's attempt to prove otherwise is stuck in quicksand. Front end,Top end, rear end.

inconvenience, do you have a shrine and a voodoo doll? I don't think I've ever encountered a person with so much hatred in them for a rider! All you do is post after post after post hating on Rossi. Boy, you are OBSESSED!

I suggest you go out more, or even more liberating, buy a motorcycle! It might help you chill out a bit mate.

Mike I was about to post a similar comment. Like, remember that guy that failed to finish every race in 1986, well he should really be the GOAT, he was just unlucky.

That's the thing though, what people don't seem to realise is that Rossi has his engineers hat on, they forget that this is still a new project for Ducati. The RC213V & the latest M1 were in development for months & months, while the GP12 was still on the drawing board. The GP12 is only two months old, the other proto's are at least a year now.

Hayden's data, Hayden's data, Hayden's data.....

Sounds like a rookie.

It's better to learn how to ride Ducati under Hayden's wing rather than just blindly copy his data.

Where did I heard that "Under my wing" phrase before?
