MotoGP » Edwards takes CRT 'pole', warns 'it’s a beast!'

“I have yet to do race distance on this bike, it's not easy, it's a beast. To be honest it's a drag car that we are trying to turn into an F1 car” – Colin Edwards.

Yeah
You are my hero (always, from VTR Times in WSBK).
You was my inspiration to buy the bike and starts racing.

I'm sure, that you make the Suter/BMW a competitive bike.

Have you arm pump? Than start fitness :p

We Admire your bravery Colin. An unpredictable machine it is, like the old two stroke 500cc's I suppose. At least with the factory teams millions upon millions are dumped to ensure a rideable machine with predictable handling characteristics, but these cash poor CRT teams just throwing sh@t together is kinda scary.

As long as they are supported financially they should be able to progress and improve. Also the rules need to stay the same and allow the teams to build the bike with some consistency. Look at HRT in F1 , they do not seem to have been able to grow in three years. If the teams keep changing staff , riders, owners , manufacturers they will continue to struggle...

I wish we had dyno charts from all the bikes on the grid that would be interesting...

Cant wait until they get this thing sorted out, if everyone is on a CRT next year he may just have his best year ever ehh?

and I agree with the sentiment above... watching colin ride in WSBK is what got me hooked on motorcycle racing

Good to see Colin in CRT. I see he is 3 secs off Ellison. But Ellison has not had any proper testing yet. So to be only 3 secs off looks promising for Ellison considering Edwards has done thousands of miles to Ellisons hundred.
