Think Marquez was extremly clever - under the circumstances - and did the right and only thing to do...
At the end, nor biker / riders did make contact which makes the maneuver clean and legal under FIM rules.

If Luthi hadnt weaved to avoid Marquez, Luthi would be in a hospital. You may think the maneuver was legal, but it was really bull sh*t.

& yes, I saw Hayden and a few others weaving across other people's lines that night, but Marquez hadnt fully passed Luthi when he moved in to his line, which pretty much makes it a stupid maneuver at best, unless you think threatening other riders with bodily harm is acceptable during a professional racing event.

btw, the camera + Marquez bating Luthi in to a handshake was priceless. Luthi should have taken a page from Dani's play book and snubbed him in front of the camera. What crap. As soon as Marquez got the hand shake he and his manager about faced and took off, shows how much sincerity there is in that lot.

Go Luthi, go blow that brat's doors off so we dont see him in MotoGP next year, hes still got stuff to learn.

Figures that his apology would be insincere.

He looked all broken up on the podium. He's the type that will do anything to win. Let's get him to MotoGP where he'll gat his ass handed to him, and competition will be left unmolested in Moto2.

Well, at the end of the day, Luthi looked so rookie by letting Marquez getting it his way. The only way I know to defend the position against that maneuver is to give up a little bit, not even breaking but simply ease a little bit on the throttle and attack back from the inside...
Well, this is not a ballet dance studio, this is racing at the top level.

would love to see you do any different to the position luthi was in with a rider on the inside of you milimetres away at 100mph plus on the brakes.I would defy any racer to do any other manover other than the one luthi completed successfully to avoid a serious accident.Im sure luthi will make sure hes on the inside of marquez next time.Aso the advantage of marquez weight is coming down as he was 51 kilos now 59 kilos what will he be in 6 months or a years time 64 kilos perhaps.
