Luthi wasnt trying to go around the outside 'inconveniently ignorant'. Marquez pushed Luthi on to the outside of the track when he pulled to the left suddenly, much like Simoncelli @ Mugello, 2008. By the time Luthi was done reacting they were both braking, at which point Marquez through his rear wheel in to Luthi's front. Also Marquez was close enough that I believe he even touched Luthi's bike.

Ole' Laverty needs to focus on his own race craft and keep his ignorant twitter posts to a minimum. At no point did Luthi have adequate room or time to react to Marquez push to the left to force Luthi out of the turn.

What you saw was a blocking maneuver, not a pass. It was only a pass when Luthi had no where to go but straight on.

crying, whining, overreacting.... tiresome

Marquez had every right to take the line as he was ahead, it seems that Marquez overestimated Luhti's intelligence... or rather underestimated his lack of intelligence. Luhti has no excuse, he must become smarter or he'll be beaten by the magnificent Marquez...

Good that there was no penalty as no penalty was needed. Incidents happen in racing, people will use their heart more than their head sometimes, especially in the case of Luhti. For sure it's a good thing that MotoGP has not lowered itself to Formula Farce status. Keep F1 out of MotoGP - GO MARQUEZ!!!

So, no penalty. Luthi is a smart guy though and he knows he has to put Marquez in the weeds at Jerez. He must show the field generally and Marquez in particular that he won't be pushed around.

The Swiss are not neutral anymore, at least No. 12 isn't...

In my opinion Iannone is riding more dangerous than Marquez which he showed in that race few times fighting with Marquez at the begining of the race like it was a last lap no brain.

Marquez's move on Luthi is bad, Yes it is racing, but slamming your bike like that is too much. I'd like to see a warning on Marquez's move.

But I don't think it will happen, Marquez is Spanish, this is a heavily sponsored spanish event. Luthi just have to suck it up, and think of a better racing strategy against a move like that.
