@Raw, you disgust me buddy, Spies has issues, and Yamaha are probably putting more of their chips behind Jorge this year, hope for the best, but dont dump on your idol just because he couldnt measure up to your unenlightened expectations.

Aside from Spies, race results are more or less as predicted. Good ride by Dovi and Crutchlow. Not a bad ride from Edwards. So much for the superiority of the ART.

That was one of the most pathetic rides I have ever seen in motogp from Ben Spies. He's fully fit, he said as much on twitter.

40 seconds behind his teammate, beaten by both satellite bikes, almost beaten by a CRT bike riding the best bike, I really dont know what to say.

Well done to Lorenzo. No doubt Pedrosa would have stayed with him if he got past Stoner a bit quicker. Bad luck to Stoner, if tyre wear is the issue, guess he will have to change his riding style a bit, which we know he can do.

What the hell happened to Spies?!?!?! I wish they would show some more of the back markers if they are having a good scrap. Does get boring watching 20 laps of follow the leader.

Good ride by Lorenzo and Pedrosa, hopefully they can keep infront of Stoner throughout the season.

Great ride by Cal and Bradl and Rossi done a good job to finish just 5 seconds behind Hayden in 6th after being pushed off track. His pace at the start was horrific though but got much better.

I hope all the people I mentioned can have a great season.

The Yamaha appears to be the most sorted bike out there, so stable and nimble through the corners.

Spies performance, however, was a huge disappointment considering how far ahead the Satellite M1's were.
