'I couldn't hold onto the handle bars properly and it made things really difficult so it was a disappointing race for this reason' - Casey Stoner

Most riders who suffer with arm pump drop well off the pace by seconds and some even pull in to the pits. I guess Stoner is super human and his arm pump only cost him a couple of tenths a lap

Pull the other one, just admit you screwed up and did not use the practice to do a race distance people will think more of you as a racer.

A Podium, fastest lap of the race....as they say cant win them all.
Dani had arm pump and got it sorted and I am sure he will to.
This season looks like it is going to be a good one and as long as Rossi doesnt take him out in the next race he will be on the podium again and better in point than he was last year.

Everyone has some issue on race day, whether they admit it or not. It's almost total lack of a good attitude that Stoner's detractors really latch onto, and I hate to join the crowd, but I may have to.

3 quick thoughts:
1. This was an unfortunate ending for Stoner
2. That's why they call it racing (Stoner demonstrated anything can happen)
3. You should never back-off (Lorenzo demonstrated that anything can happen)
