@ Steve929

Or you could argue he needs to improve his starts :)

I seem to remember his WSBK starts weren't always the greatest either. That could be something he needs to look at, because you can't give anything away at this level.

I'm not bashing the lad though, he did great today.

Great performance by Cal today. Very heady to keep his cool and not bin it. I was thinking to myself "take a different line!" but I suppose I'll give him credit in that he probably knows more than I do :D

I'm not a Crutchlow fan, but I'm a Yamaha fan. As long as he can bring good points and beat the Hondas then I'm happy for him. And Dovi as well.

@Crutchslow
"Should've, Would've, Could've - popular words for this little Arrogant lad."

Should've - got off the line a bit better
Would've - been closer to the front group as his lap times show.
Could've - had a rostrum chance .. unlikely but he could've.

"I'm sure Dovi would've loved to say these words as well....or anyone else. "

Except that Dovi Got beaten by Crutchlow .. as did most of the field.

Arrogant ? no - starting to prove the doubters wrong - most definately.

There is a fine line between arrogance and self-confidence. One is often mistaken for the other, especially in sports people. It also depends on your perspective, if you are a fan of that person or not. Personally I don't think he is arrogant, I think he has self-confidence and self-belief. It is impossible to compete at this level without that. In all his statements to the press he always talks about the team being good, the support etc, he also said before the race he wouldn't be fighting for the podium as the others are too fast. those aren't the words of an arrogant person.
