@Been there seen them all..
I heard that too. Apparently the funds will come from the successful outcome of the law suit about to be launched against Rossi and Burgess. Charges laid? Fraud and deception!
"I can fix the bike in 80 seconds"..."Stoner doesn't ride it hard enough".
These comments, of course, were made in regards to the same Ducati, handed over no less, to Rossi and JB, after 3 WINS on the trot!

Surprised he cares. If it was me I'd just toddle round and collect the $20million.

Stoner been complaining about front end problems since 2007 and its taken them 5 years to slightly improve it. It's obvious the team are incompetent. People act like Hayden and Barbera were fighting for the win but the fact is they were only 5 seconds up the road, sad times for Ducati.

I admit, I've never really liked Rossi. To me, he is bike racing's Mohammed Ali - an over rated flamboyant showman. But, unfortunately most people foolishly fall head over heals for these type of people without taking a good look at them - they become unquestioning worshipers. However, be that as it may, witnessing Rossi's humiliation (or exposure)is very unsettling to watch. I'm sure most bike fans don't want to see this happening. Indeed, he has had his time - most level headed people know he won't be on the podium again. But, I hope Rossi can salvage some dignity and bow out with his head up. Lets all show the man some respect and not put the boot in when he's down. After all, he does have 7 major titles to his name.

We are constantly told that this man is the GOAT,yet he hasnt won a race since October 2010.We are constantly told that Stoner only won races when on the best bike.Was the Ducati the best bike in 08,09 and 2010?
Yet Stoner still put it on the podium time and time again.Why cant Rossi?
If there was ever a case of only winning when on the best bike it is this man.Put him on anything that is difficult to ride and he shows that he is no better than anyone else.Even Bradl beat him yesterday at his first attempt.And people call Stoner a moaner.We are all getting fed up with this guys excuses.If he walks away from Ducati this year it will be the most epic failure in Motogp history.

Not a fan of VR but do know he has ability just not on the duc the only person who can ride it to wins was KS but if he had been on BS yahama today i bet he would have been up the front . Don,t know why but no-one seems to have the style except KS to tame the ducs .

Seem to remember Marco Melandri saying a similar thing following his disasterous season at Ducati. He did an interview on the BBC the following year when he was on the Hayate (Kawasaki) basically saying Ducati/Prezioni wouldn't take on board his ideas or change the bike in ways he believed would improve it. All they kept telling him was "the computer suggests this" or "our calculations say that". Seems Ducati are still not listening to their riders. Unless they do they are only going to be midpack runners!
