Jap bikes the way to go. Ducati always looks pretty but Italian metal should be hung on walls and not raced on moto gp stage,without SBK advantage they couldnt compete with Japanese engineering and technology.

@surfjunkie

i actually do amateur races if you must know. I can understand when its hard to ride a bike and ive raced bikes with chatter, lack of front end feeling, hopping 'syndrome'.
I advice you to go replay some of Rossis glory days because hes not going to repeat that for awhile with dani, jorge and stoner around

J Burgess: "He's a realist, he knows he's perhaps not at the level of Casey (Stoner) and Lorenzo but he certainly believes he can race with the rest of them,"

Stoner gave Ducati a WC and a win on average nearly every third race while he was there. Rossi has given them one third in 18 races. Now he wants to go home and cry after another Ducati put a hard pass on him?

The rider is 80% and the bike 20%. Who said that? - oh, gosh, it was Rossi.

I am a fan of racing,and hate to see any rider of Rossi's calibur getting beat up badly...Racing needs him in the mix,and Hayden did alright by 6th,but how many seconds down? Ducati needs to improve,and Im glad someone finally told them they basically are building a crap bike!!!!!!

Fact is motogp just isn't as exciting any more. Who wants to watch a battle of three week after week. SBK seems like a more realistic formula and nearly always delivers stunning races, pretty soon it will become the "premier" class. Sponsors money is tight, why should they commit to a "spectacle" that just isn't one ? Oh and while I'm at it, when will someone see Barbara as the average talent he is ? The only times he does good laps is following someone.. Sh175 me to tears.

it's a very pity but Rossi massively underestimated just how good Casey Stoner was on the bike, as indeed did Ducati and was thinking Rossi and Ducati will flying to the championship title.
The truth is the combination won't works not now and not in the future.The aim of Ducati is podium places and not 5th with 30 sec behind the winner.

ive watched all these riders come through the ranks,and watched moto gp change over the years.and im sorry to say something is missing.we need the top 6-8 riders battling for the win,but are we going to get it?what happened to the closer racing we were promised?you only have watch WSB or BSB so much more excitement im sorry to say.as for rossi/ducati we will have to wait and see.the man that would have been up at the sharp end,is sadly only in our thoughts.
