give it a break with the how slow he was in comparison to the other duc's, he lost 5 seconds when he got nudged off, plus for the next lap it looked as if he'd given up cus he was cruising, and he even indicated (on another site) that he was just gonna ride back to the pits and retire but then changed his mind and he finish 5 seconds on 6th place and top ducati (hayden), basically if he hadnt of been nudged off he would of finished comfortably in 6th place, but even that is not the old Vale, something is very wrong in his head, i dunno if its, the bad shoulder injury that took along time to recover from plus then the bad leg break straight after then being involved in the crash that killed his best friend but one thing is clear Vale is completly shot in the head at the mo and im starting to wonder if he will ever get it back.

@ al t: i have to agree with you
ducati never listened to their rider isnt new issue,
since capirex, they've never listening to their riders

i thought about this lately, mark this comments : quotes Rossi as saying: "Ducati didn't follow the direction that I indicated, but I'm not an engineer and I can't solve every problem.

that comments answered all the mystery puzzle "what happened to rossi-ducati"

i doubt ducati never listened to casey's feedback too, its just casey didnt said it outloud like rossi

Rossi has won many more races and podiums than Stoner and Lorenzo combined.

If he says it is a crap bike then that is because it is. Who cares what Barbera and Hayden did in the race. They finished over 28sec behind the winner. When was the last time either finished on the podium?

If Rossi was on a Yam or Honda you can bet your ass he would be up there fighting. You have to be crazy to doubt that!

6. Nicky Hayden USA Ducati Team (GP12) 43m 12.627s
7. Alvaro Bautista ESP San Carlo Honda Gresini (RC213V) 43m 12.660s
8. Stefan Bradl GER LCR Honda MotoGP (RC213V) 43m 13.678s
9. Hector Barbera ESP Pramac Racing (GP12) 43m 15.598s
10. Valentino Rossi ITA Ducati Team (GP12) 43m 17.879s

Rossi lost 5 seconds when Barbera pushed him out of track.
Substract 5 seconds off Rossi's time, looks like Hayden is not doing much better then Rossi, right?
So it's the limit of the bike. A crap bike.

Rossi just save yourself and get a Yamaha or Honda or even Suzuki, and you may win again.

At least you American boys will have a home built bike to cheer on at Indianapolis and Laguna, no its not that abortion of a Czysz, Attack performance with a Kawasaki Engine. Good thing for them they cane tune it to hell as it doesnt need to last.

ducati pls just give back Rossi's FAITH..without it not onlyRossi even all rider can be down so far,46 is a drift king but ducati can't drift so well,it's a sadly statement i've ever read from 46..i cry when i read it at gpone n crash..that 46's face tell what 46 needed right now only FAITH if 46's FAITH comeback,courage-passion-fun 'n crazy thing will be back too...anyway 27 can be champion in '07 coz there is little help from 65 in '06 to set up ducati, what happen next with 27?? if 65 not move maybe he'll be champion(just my opinion)

now all the rossi haters are having a feast with this article. you rossi-haters can celebrate all you want because if rossi has a competitive bike, all you have to do is cry because your favorite riders could not beat him.

Valetini couldn't ride the bike Casey could and did for three years, so Ducati rebuilt it. Now he has a bike to his own design and he still can't ride it, but Haydyn who couldn't compete with Casey can ride the new one. Obviously Valentino is missing something and didn't Jeremy Burgess hint something similar before Qatar. WSB or something worse like Ferrari awaits you Valentino.
