Indeed Pedrosa had the wrong strategy, he could have done what Marquez did to Iannone on that last lap if he had gone past Stoner when Lorenzo did.

Qatar has never really seemed to be one of Pedrosa's strong tracks despite getting commendable results, so to see him do so well here is promising.

Also, I am not a big Stoner fan, but I do feel sympathy for him because I doubt he would back off and not challenge for the win if he really did not have some sort of issue- It happened to Dani last year at the same event, albeit a different type of injury.

Good race!

Stoner, knowing he didn't have the strength to win the race, should have let Pedrosa pass to try to catch (and beat) Jorge.

Instead, he chose to hinder his "team mate" and gave Lorenzo time to run away and snatch victory.

Seems like the phrase "team mate" is an oxymoron in this "sport".

Pedro only looks out for himself. He's made that clear year after year, and he made it clear that he would have taken points off Stoner in a heartbeat when Stoner needed them toward the end of last season.

Pedro only cares about being HRC's number 1 rider. The bloke would rather gift a race win to another rider/team than let his "teamate" through for the points so I wouldn't expect Stoner to wave Pedro through either.

He did a hell of a job. Tremendous start and probably did better than expected by hanging onto Lorenzo and Stoner. imo, while he doesn't quite have the pace of the other 2 he has just as much talent. I honestly think his weight hurts him (not in the straights or starts. Big help there haha) but chucking the bike around 100% and keeping up is an achievement. There's a reason he's an 'alien'. Also, good to see good sportsmanship from him. Don't think he and Lorenzo get along all that well so to admit that was decent of him. Beating Stoner must be gravy for him though and tbh before Stoner fell back, it's not like Pedrosa was miles behind.

Stupid Deadly Parade.What a load of boll0cks!
Stoner is there to win races not to LET his team mate passed. If Dani wanted 2nd place he should take it,not wait to get called through by Stoner!
If you dont intend to try to win the race, why bother even starting!
