I feel for Ben in many ways two crashes and then the biggest of the biggest chatter in warm up and the race I hope this problem is sorted for Jerez without that issue he could have challenged for the podium.

out with old excuse book eh? blah blah chatter this chatter that, how convenient chatter appeared before the race when none of the other yamahas complained before.
sorry this guy just doesnt have it, crashing twice he looks like he wants to go back to WSBK.
I hope Cal or Dovi get the seat, they seem to want it more

Challenge for the podium? No, I don't think so, not at this round. He never found a good feeling with the front end and was always .3 to .5s per lap slower than Lorenzo and Stoner throughout. He never showed podium pace this weekend.

If things had gone well he would probably have been in the mix for P4, so it's a pity he had the problem.

No crisis yet though, it will get better for sure. It's just unfortunate that his seasons always seem to get off to such a rocky start and leave him having to claw back points.

If you watch the race again it is perfectly clear that there was something not right with Bens bike.No need to MAKE UP excuses. If he says he was suffering with chatter, then he was suffering with Chatter!
But as usual, there are people on here who will say it is an excuse.Because the have obviously ridden a Motogp bike themselves and know all about it!

Unfortunately at this level you can't really have 'weak' circuits. Or if you do, then a weak circuit would be one where you can only run top 5.

Ben's aim in this championship ought to be top 4 minimum. He's good enough to do it and he has the equipment, but if he's going to deliver on that then he has to be strong everywhere. This business of 'weakest circuits' won't cut it.

I like Ben and rate him very highly so I'm just keeping it real here. Let's hope for a better result next time out.

bring out the excuse book? really!

Ben is so much better than 11th, his bike is so much better than 11th. . .so when he finishes 11th, isnt it logical that there is a valid technical reason for his result!
. . .it may be wise to look up the definitions of 'excuse' and 'reason', then add some common sense or logic to your argument before clicking 'send'!

Totally agree you cant have 'bad' tracks at this level, Ben also seems to start the season a little slow and claw back points throughout the season which is also something he really needs to work on, especially when you look at Casey, Dani and Jorge firing on all cylinders from day one!
. . .but Ben is an amazing talent and is capable of great things, i'm damn sure Yamaha know this too and he'll come good soon enough!

Fantastic ride by Cal yesterday also, great to give us brits something to smile about for a change, hope he can keep it up!
