hey! we shouldn't blame Jarvis, let's blame Houseworth instead! the guy who helped Spies to 3 AMA championships, 1 WSBK championship in his rookie year along with 14 wins and his only Grand Prix win in MotoGP!

I was at the race. It was obvious on the pre Moto3 race GP warm up that something was seriously wrong with his bike. The late race lap times dipping into CRT territory just confirm it. It was a safe ride with the machine available at the time.

I hope for his sake it was a one-off. Since moving to Yamaha Factory he's never really matched JL99 and with Cal and Dovi going so well he might have something to worry about. Remember, Bradley Smith is guaranteed a Tech 3 GP seat next year, short of dumping him on a CRT R1 one of CC and AD must go. Perhaps if Spies can't match those two we could see one of them alongside Jorge next year

the whole Jarvis conspiracy is ridiculous, Yamaha have nothing to gain from such accusations, it's in their interest that they have two full factory bikes and riders running at their optimum capacity, why on earth would they jeapordise their own chances at a constructors or riders championship? In short, they wouldn't!

Get real its the first race of the year! i hear comments that Spies needs to look out or his seat is going to be taken by Bradle.Hey even after the first free pratice off, Dovi is going to get his seat. What a joke, example

I am willing to give Ben the benefit of the doubt. Everyone has an off weekend. Those crashes did seem to mess with his confidence and obviously his bike though. I believe he will get back on his feet and win a race or 2 this season but if he doesn't then one must consider finding a replacement for his factory seat.

No one is calling for the head or Jarvis. The problems that plagued Ben last year, and again last weekend, are directly attributable to his crew. Ben brought over Tom Houseworth and Greg Wood and they have accomplished nothing short of making their garage a 3-ring circus. From running out of gas, to parts installed upside down, to levers falling off, it's been a complete joke. Give Houseworth & Wood their walking papers and Ben becomes a contender!

If I had to speculate Ben gets the engineers attention after Jorge is taken care of. Cant wait till he and Casey+Dani get rid of their new tire woes/chatter issues.

A part of me wonders if Rossi left a piece of him self @ Yamaha, would be nice to see Rossi scalp some Yamaha engineers so they can get his bike in order.

Deffinatly think there should be a crew shakeup..in motogp you just can't afford these kind of setup issues,Like him or not Spies is better the 11th place. His times in testing were very simular to JL,KC and Dani's
