I cannot take some of these comments seriously about Rossi always having been on the best machinery.
Have some of you actually been following his career since 125's, 250's and on to 500's and ultimately MotoGP? It doesnt sound like it. A satellite Honda, a woefully uncompetetive Yamaha at the beginning and still all those wins? It's pathetic and disrespectful to say he was always on the best machinery, ergo he always won. I strongly suspect you haven't been watching bike racing all these years and youre making yourselves look very stupid.

@Broady71...no mate...we have the most intelligent ppl here, who actually have achieved more than Valentino Rossi, who knw how to develop a bike and whom Ferrari would love to give their cars to drive in blancpain endurance series...

@broady71
Rossi HAS had some of the best machinery! Even the Yamaha had won with Biaggi. And when he got it who was the competition? Pretty poor!!! Hardly stoner & Lorenzo! I've been watching racing since '73 and Rossi has been great but he has not beaten some greats other than there 'apprentice" years.
A great character but chronically over-rated cos of his like ability! Bit like Batrry Sheene. I thought he was the greatest....until Robert and Hennen turned up.

@Clackerelli. You're previous comments are loaded with obvious anti-Rossi sentiment and you are disrespectful of his achievements and those of other riders. That is why I can't take you seriously.
