Soops, you are 100 % right, it was great to see the 4 1000cc Yamahas scrapping for first place, oh wait, they weren't, only 1 was.

As for all the people saying Nicky just keeps his head down, whats he going to do, who will give him a job except for Ducati. He would say its a missle on rails if Ducati tell him to. Nicky is a world class rider but come on, he beats Rossi at one race and you muppets act like is a regular thing.

@ Brian C I do get the point and we'll see at the end of the seaosn who is higher. Does that sound fair

Rossi, unlike Hayden, does not think 6th is "good enough" (quote from Hayden) and he lashed out. He is not content to finish 6th, unlike Hayden.

Although I agree with you and think Rossi has been very petulant the past 2 weeks and Hayden has just kep his head down and worked away (to his credit), I think Rossi will stop crying, remove his finger from his butt and will finish above Hayden.....again.

The difference in motivation and behaviour is that Rossi wants to win, and can't, and Hayden is just happy to be in a factory team

With reference to Stoner on the Ducati, what can you say?? He fecking phenomenal! Rossi is actually trying to copy Stoners style to get the most out of the ducati (I read an article entitle Rossi and Stoner 2 sailors in Moto GP). For Rossi to change his style at this stage in his career is very respectable too, but will take time. You can't say he's not t

Dr Thompson, why come on public forums if you dont want to hear peoples opinions? Would you prefer no comments, or people just to reply saying 'whoopie doo', or the usual 'hopefully they can get it sorted' yadda yadda yadda!?!?

Neither you or i know whats going on behind the scenes with Ducati, so unless you have inside info of some sort, then can i suggest you respects peoples opinions if they are different to your own. It only shows lack of thought and understanding.

@DB8
Hayden isn't happy sitting in 6th. I think you missed the way that was said. He's saying "Considering how bad the bike has been since I got here, it's better than being in say -- 10th." Nicky prefers to lead too but if he isn't given the same parts and attention that the #1 rider is getting, all he can do is be the "corporate" guy, do his job, ride as hard as he can and try to win. Do you remember how he stalked Lorenzo at Aragon in 2010? Tell me the guy doesn't like to be a winner (or as close as he can get).

@ Rossi Lover - LOL - yeah, what I meant to say was

Rossi is the only great rider in the history of the sport and Moto GP will die without him therefore, he will definitely win 4 more championships.

Stoner is just a poop head cry baby and I don't like Austrailians anyway. The fact he has a good bike is actually some form of cheating.

Nicky Hayden finishes above Rossi in the first race of the season, therefore he should be their number one rider!!!!

@DBB, yes Rossi beat Hayden last season but it could have gone either way as there was only a few points in it. yes it was Rossi's first year on the duke, but lets not forget he's a 7 times moto gp champion as the yellow brigade keep reminding us, so he should have done much better of course.

A rider is only as good as his last race, and so far, Hayden is leading him in the championship so is technically the best rider they have at the moment, with Barbara being the second best.

Will it last, maybe, maybe not, of course i would tend to say no it wont, but you never know.

I honestly think that if Rossi doesnt get the Ducati to at least where it was beforte he took over, then it might just be bye bye baby!

Maybe his fans might just follow him to whatever he decides to do next, which of course will be a huge bonus too. LOL!

D88, much better LOL

Brian C- if you belive that about different parts at this stage, do you want to buy some shares in a water powered car !!!!!!!!!

Kelv - if a rider is only as good as his last race, soes that mean Stoner is third best in the worls at the moment, see D88, that how real muppets post !!!

@ Kelv - Fair enough - I'm not saying Rossi has had a great time on the Ducati, but his debut season on it was certainly better than Haydens 13th!!!!! My only point is that Rossi is deservedly the number one rider in Ducati. I've acknowledged he has a lot to answer for with his recent comments, but that doesn't mean he should be demoted ffs!

Also, here's a hypothetical scenario - If Jorge and Casey had accomplished EVERYTHING Vale had, then broke their leg, then been involved in a crash which killed their friend, do you not think they'd be questioning their motivation to push to the limit on a poor bike too? What would they do?

Vale is still trying and, considering the above, I think he is owed some respect -I'll admit the 15mill pay cheque probably helps too. He's had his tantrum. He'll be abck and finishing above Hayden in no time, mark my words.
