Brian C, posters like you never fail to amaze me, he has a title so hes a contender, really, when is the last time he won a race ? When is the last time he beat any team mate ? Pedrosa does not have a top class title so I'm guessing he has no chance but Hayden does. If you don't like Rossi fair enough but trying to place Hayden ahead of him because he won a title years ago and has not won a race since, come on.

Yet again people are too quick to comment on what rossi is doing before reading the article. Nicky is making up for lost testing time over winter which he missed due to
injury. Rossi has had his allocated testing time and would therefore be illegal for him to carry out further testing!!!

Idiots...

Crash.net have a mercy for God's sake, no more articles on Ducati and Rossi. How can you read this debilitating comments day after day and stay normal. Rossi no good, Casey better, Rossi can't ride, Casey can ride, and all this posted by serious racers with inside informations.

DB8, sorry my friend but you are the one who is guilty of proving your own stupidity, especially with contradicting comments like this lol!......

'Hayden said its the fastest Ducati he has rode', then you go on to say........'1000ccs are faster? 1000ccs have proved slower so far this year.They will speed up though.'

My god dude, come on. Surely you are intelligent enough to realsie what Hayden meant by saying its the fastest ducati he has rode.

Its a 1000cc, its going to be 'faster' like i said, and like Hayden said too. Its not rocket science to work out whats meant by this. Its faster in a straight line of course, and thats because of the engine, not because Rossi worked his magic on it thats for sure.

Rossi has failed to live up to expectations and is running around with Hayden, and thats clearly where his skill level is right now, i just wish his fans would deal with it and accept that. Thats the facts, whether they like it or not.

@DB8

lol

I wasn't going to comment on this thread but the utter ridiculousness of one of your post can't be ignored.

You act like Rossi being on better kit than Hayden last year is a surprise. It's commonly known that Rossi started last year on the standard GP11 when Hayden was saddled with the "soft kit" that Rossi didn't even race and the team dismissed to Hayden. And when Rossi went to the GP11.1 (in Assen?) Nicky was left with the stillborn developed older chassis until Laguna I believe. Now part of the reason was because of Hayden's engine supply numbers but Rossi had what was still believe to be the better kit much earlier. It definitely was the kit that was being developed.

And you say just because Hayden had been at Ducati longer that he should have beat Val? That's preposterous. That's like saying Dovi should have beat Stoner because he was with Honda longer. Just like Dovi compared to Stoner, Nicky isn't in the same talent wise as Val. And that's coming from a huge Hayden

And that's coming from a huge Hayden fan who has watched him since he was a teenager. Do you think when Ducati sign Val to a gazillion dollars they didn't expect him to beat Nicky? Who in their right minds EXPECTED Nicky to beat Rossi last year? To say Nicky should have beat Rossi because he was there longer is crap and you know it. Don't use that as an excuse as to why Val only beat him by 7 or so points.

It's just a make-up session, guys. You are digging too deep. Even so, Hayden can never be the #1 rider on an Italian bike in an Italian team when the current number one is Valentino. Actually, I can't imagine a scenario where Nicky would be #1 over Rossi on any team. That's just the way it is, regardless of results.

The cool thing is ... I seriously doubt Hayden cares. Not even the slightest fraction of worry about who's the #1 guy in the team. I hope the test is a positive one for the team and the riders.
