Reports have it that VW executives would have paid considerably more (1.2 billion Euros) for the motorcylce manufacturer if Rossi never joined and showed how bad the prototype machine is.

So thats 20 million in the hole for Rossi's wage and 350 million Euros in company devaluation.

Audi wont be happy to just make money off of T-Shirts, caps and tat like that. Changes will have to be made. VAG group don't like to lose money. Ducati is like a black hole for money.

Can't see the Phillip Morris money continuing for too much longer.
