Big win for ducati. Think ducati will only be a loss making venture unless the germans take complete control.

I don't want a ducati bike, I want a VW or porsche bike, sweet.

Dear Rossi haters,

Ducati is not sold because its sales down due to Rossi's fault. On the contrary, Rossi's influence has proven to be remarkable.
from cyclenews:
The Italian brand has rebounded more quickly that most from the depths of the financial crisis, hitting new year-over-year sales numbers, especially in the U.S., which has surpassed Italy as the company's largest market.

"Sales for 2011 are very good, it's our best year ever," Ducati Director General Claudio Domenicali told Cycle News in January. The company sold 42,233 bikes worldwide last year. "We grow around 20% from last year, which is a very good result for us and especially also the profit margin is very good. So we can say that even if the general situation, general economic situation and also the motorcycle market is still declining, our way to continue in introducing new products and opening new markets have been proving very good, so we are very happy.

He continued. "We are very good in U.S., which is kind of 40

He continued. "We are very good in U.S., which is kind of 40% or 50%, over 40% up. It's, for the first time ever, U.S. is the biggest market for Ducati. And we are kind of rocketing in Asia, where we grow kind of more than 100%, even if the numbers there are still very small, but they're kind of doubling every year."

It's the old time debts, before 2010, that is the problem. Not Rossi.

Having Rossi, Ducati sales "rocketing" in Asia, and up 40% in US!
