Interesting! Although pretending is not good for a relstionahip whether done by women or men (and I think in the old rules men have to pretend to be strong even when they do not feel it), that some men now feel like they have to pretend to be interested in a woman's career, etc. to get a women seems to me a sign of a shift or perhpas just a crack in the gender power structure. Women are less and less likely to stay in a relstionahip that doesn't meet their needs especially when they can support themselves financially. Carmen
