What is the level of success needed so everyone is happy? If nothing short of a championship is good enough to determine success, it's never going to happen and everyone should be looking for the least embarrassing way out.

If a better finish than last season is deemed a success, then it could be possible. Even this seems unlikely at this stage though.

The thing Rossi and his fans should learn from Stoner.
"You need not to be x time world champion and you need not to have good personality to win on a Ducati"

VR wouldn't win today no matter what he rides, and that's OK. He's still the GOAT, and human, and past his prime. Could he be a lot closer to a podium on a perfect bike,, heck yeah. Rossi at 80% is still better then everyone except the 3 aliens. As far as Ducati, I think that blaming the bike, even after the myriad of changes that VR asked for and received, is a waste of time. Both he and Hayden will make significant improvements if they just put in the laps on the current version and stop changing frames or engines and starting over again. Ridding like it should be ridden, the current Duc is a Podium bike.

#46 has currently got about as much chance of winning an 80th GP as Capirex had of getting a 100th podium, before he called it quits. Nice round numbers arn't they ? Like Capirex at the same age, he has slowed up a bit. That may have a lot to do with Mugello 2010 and Sepang 2010.
In fact, those two issues inside his head have much more to do with his performances these days than anyone would care to admit, least of all him.
Ducati can't see it,but judging by Hayden's current performances and Barbera's,they had better start looking. Shrink time for him, like Melandri before him.
Not that it will matter match. Agreeable divorce inevitable, unless he can dupe Ducati into convincing them 2013 will be his year. Like Capirex he will do his damndest to hang around MGP prototypes long passed his sell by date.

Everybody seems to know everything.
Everybody is a genius.
Everybody has a brother called Albert Einstein.

WE are behind a lap top typing-saying every bull**** we can think off.
Well, lets go and make our GP TEAM.
What the f... do we know about Casey and Rossi?
We are their close friends?
We are their mechanics?
If someone has this privilegge TALK NOW.

We think we know because we are sitting in our sofa watching?
Everyone out there is pushing HARD.
Yes,express your opinion but dont forget who you are. Otherwise you would be travelling in a motorhome for Spain in a few days.

I couldnt care less if Rossi has 200 world titles.Until he wins on the Ducati,he will not be better than Stoner.Seven of his titles were won BEFORE Stoner came to the premier class.Since Stoner came on the scene,he has been the more successful of the two,FACT!
As Mick stated earlier,Rossi is the GOAT, so he should be capable of winning races on the Ducati like Stoner did.But he cant.WHY?
And its no good blaming Stoner like Dr Thompson. He has had nothing to do with the Ducati for over a year and a half. All the "development" of this new bike is down to Rossi and Burgess. And it still cant win races.Myth well and truly busted.

It'll work. But to the middle of the season. By that time they will understand all the causes and will have some of them sorted out. So the podiums are possible in the second part of the season. And don't forget about Audi's money that should start to flow by then.

LOL at Ritchie.

Hahahaha "I don't care that Rossi has 3 times as much titles as Stoner I still support my fellow whingebag kiwi!!!!"

Rider goes from being the GOAT to a mid pack rider in one season. Everyone blames the rider and not the fact that he switched to a motorbike which ended Hayden's and Melandri's career too, LOL.

i hope it can work, for the sake of the sport. i admire casey's ability but when one man dominates the way casey did last can be a little tiring. i know vale has dominated the sport in the past. but he didn't just sod off into the distance.if the first race is anything to go by it will be jorge and casey all the way, with dani upsetting the apple cart on occasion.i hope i'm wrong, but somehow i doubt it.
