@ realist....Are you sure no Rossi fan said Hayden cant ride, because I seem to remember it was said many times from 06 and onwards.
Me .....Well I know Hayden can ride just as I know Rossi cant ride the Ducati. It takes a very special talent to be able to and I know Rossi is a awesome rider, but unfortunetly he doesnt have that talent as has been proven.

re: "Presziosi (however you spell it) and other key designers/engineers should have been shown the door at the end of last year when they royally s-crewed up the bike (for years) and were going to make it worse with the continued monocoque design that was eventually scrapped."

but now successfully commercialized with the production panigale.

Hey lets all agree that the sport needs this man Rossi for a while to come. If he quits or no manufacturers to take him further. The TRP's will drop and circuits will not have many takers as their is no other rider who has that kind of following. So pray that his bike works and he is up there and running with front runners.

Well the article on Speed says a lot.
"At Qatar the Ducati top speed showed if you are winning in the final 200 meters of the straight you are losing in the first 200 meters and that also means losing out on acceleration at many corners." Burgess said.
And he goes on to say:
"In Qatar when Valentino was complaining about the engine that was a good sign because he is not complaining about the chassis.

Now it seems that the chassis is working a bit better. Maybe they can get this thing to accelerate out of a corner..
Now it is sounding like he asked for good acceleration out of the corners and got top speed.

@TH3RID3R...yep,Rossi's an awesome bike developer alright. He managed to "develop" the Ducati, that had won 33 MotoGP races, was on the podium 42 times and won it's last 3 three races prior to handing it over...and it's now "developed" into 12th place...and lucky to not get smoked by the CRT bikes.
