he must forget all the honda and yamaha how to ride, and also have to forget the character of the engine, chassis, electronics..etc on honda and yamaha?

honda, yamaha and ducati different, they have their own advantages. honda good in acceleration, yamaha good in chassis and ducati good on top speed ..

btw, if he wants to be better, he must blend with the bike .. and trust with an excess of the bike?

good luck rossi?

So many nicely balanced posts, even those that don't support rossi.
It's unfortunate but it's because certain people are still asleep in their part of the world, these appear to be the prime abusers.
Let's try and keep it like this.
By the way I hope vale does better this weekend.

I dont get why go to places like Jerez and Assen (WSB) so early in the season. Weather's always terrible and again this week, they're predicting downpours.

I dont want #46 to win or get close to the front in the wet. It Skews the performance envelope of the bike and rider. I dont see how the wet weather improves his chances because by all accounts, it should make the front, rear, more difficult to control ? Yes he came through the pack like a bat out of hell in last years race, only to take Stoner out.

The outburst was meticulously times to show DUCATI that his patience is running out. I'm sorry, even if they had the great Furusawa on board with this project, I dont see results until midpoint or even beyond this season. To get to the Aliens (he's no longer one) he needs to find speed that he just doesn't have.

I wish he could. Racing needs it and although Jorge gave us a bit of entertainment value with his heroics in Qatar, we need Valentino to mix it up again.

"Rossi: We have a base to start from"
ad infinium Blah Blah Blah, it's like a stuck record now.

Yep, slowest Factory bike by a mile, and arguably slower than the satelite bikes too.

Definition of Base = The lowest or bottom part, most certainly applies in this case.
Put up or shut up Rossi, youre growing tedius.

All I'm gonna say is that he needs to start regularly beating Nicky (BARBERA AT LEAST!!!) if his Tantrums are gonna be taken seriously by Ducati.

I can't understand that Nicky beats him and still gets less press...

So, to recap, we've had the following excuses

- The shoulder, oooh the shoulder, as soon as it's right, we'll fight at the front.
- The carbon fibre frame, it's too stiff, make me an ally one.
- The stressed member ALLY frame, I need a twin spar frame!
- I want a whole new bike!
- The L-4 Engine!!! IT'S THE ENGINE!!!! FIX IT NOW!!!
- OK, WE SUDDENLY HAVE A GOOD BASE SETTING!!!! (Even though I was complaining and saying it's unridable last week!!!)

Best he pray for rain so he can take the whole field out and get another result...

Don't get me wrong, I want him fighting at the sharp end again, the more races up front the better. But he's giving maximum complaint with minimum effort to push the bike. PROVE you're amazing as your fans say, ride it hard, risk crashing (Jus

@ Devil

I agree. Pedrosa has had enough years to try win a title...
But am I wrong? Is the first rule of racing not to beat your team mate? And definitely beat the guy on the lower spec bike!
