Don't forget although he was last, he wasn't lapped. Many people had expected CRT bikes being lapped more than once based on pre-season testing times.

The team are new to this Championship.
The bike has had negligible testing.
Those are the limiting factors.
Ellison's potential currently exceeds the bikes abilities.
Ellison's results WILL improve.
You can count on it.

All CRT's are only just starting out on the path of developement, as so many give a certain rider on the Ducati with 1000's of km developement leway, give all the CRT riders a break.
Exactly DBL, those who are bad at maths were expecting.

James is a good rider in a poor team with an under developed bike. Dont forget he was pretty good in bsb and wss last year as well as performing well on the 2 strokes a few years ago.
Think he made the wrong decision to go to CRT but maybe he likes the atmosphere in moto gp. Hey, hes better than most of us and a top bloke too.
