i really dont understand where all the anti James Ellison sentiment comes from..James is a good rider and he has proved himself on numerous occassions that he can race with the good guys...

He's struggled for fitness in recent years due to numerous serious and career threatening injuries..i'd like to see any of you lot carry on racing after what he's been through..he's a good lad and he will get quicker as the season goes on! Keep it lit James. Buzz

Think you are right. He did ride the WCM briefly but it was a four stroke V4 then V6. Anyway still think hes a more than decent rider and on occasion exceptional.
Also good offroad.

Hardly a joke tlboy. He obviously still enjoys racing and hes hardly taking any one elses ride is he ? There are only about 4 riders in moto gp that will win a race - the rest have no hope. Just like F1. I would be there at the back if I had the chance and so would you. Its the taking part that also counts.

did a trackday at donnington park a few years ago.before the developers got their hands on it.James ellison was riding round for the company running it.very helpful and full of advice, and praise for even my mediocre talent.i'd love to see anyone on here keep him in sight for even one lap. he was on a R6 i rode my blade. and thats all.

the wcm James rode was actually a 4 inline based on the R1 engine and controversial at the time as its engine was production based. under current rules it would have been fine though...
He actually did make that bike look better than it was!

selective memory tlboy...

When Ellison was last here, he was on the Yamaha that even Rossi said he could ride due to the chatter. Unlike Rossi and Ellison's own teammate (Checa), Ellison didn't get the updated chassis and spent the whole year on that crap bike....Checa ended up 15th to Ellison's 18th.

Not bad considering.

When Ellison rode in 2 ch ships last year he did brilliant hisfinest hour being the very last race in bsb where he held up hopper and hill whilst shaky Byrne went off ahead and ellison on his privateer bike did a sterling job but no one interviewed him at the end of the race as usual he was kept under the radar . He is never interviewed and I hope he never goes away and annoys you sad few that probably make neg . Comments about ALL riders because you have NOTHING. Better to do
