@ tomcol. If it's the taking part that counts then why do they award points and positions and then at the end of the season crown the person with the most "taking part points" a world champion? So Rossi is a multi "it's the taking part that counts" champion everybody. And I thought it was a touch more important than that.

@Md Zane....Have to agree with you, Half of these poster on here probably can't ride for ****e,and don't have the groin to lay it down in a corner...or go 200mph plus....James can ride with the best, just hasn't had the best rides at his disposal, but got what he could out of the ones he rode.

Disagree with that. He had a very good yamaha in bsb and had is butt kicked by what is now proving to be a very average rider in camier. He aslo had a very good bike last year in wss. If he could ride with the best of them he would've been doing better than he had done

Considering he'd not raced a Supersport since 2002 IIRC, I think he did pretty good toward the end of the year.

He gave SorryMate their first ever podium in BSB in the same season.

As I've said before, he's got a lot of experience which is precisely what PBM want. They don't need a young charger throwing it at the scenery every race. What would they learn from that!?! James is fast and can help them develop the bike.

Yes. He has so much experience and set up prowress that it took him a season to set up a tuned road bike on the best team in the wss paddock. Just what pbm are looking for. A talented development rider. He couldn't develop spots in the midst of puberty.
