Can I draw attention to the fact that not only did Rossi finish the sesh in 2nd, he also completed more laps than anyone else. Not bad for someone who supposedly "is just riding around collecting his paycheck".

@DB8, good point but if it winds up the Rossi haters, great. I appreciate all the riders when they are racing but not a big fan of some personalites off the bikes. Just my very humble opinion.

it's obvious rossi and ducati's main problems now is the engine. in the wet when sheer speed and high machine RPM it's not required. and the monstrous power of ducati engine is insignificant rossi can turn the bike well. but in the dry the sheer power let the back wheel sliding too much and it cause understeer. so smoother power delivery on ducati engine is the key for them to succedd

no matter what anyone say this does prove that the ducati is the underlining problem in rossi's results and not his talent,we all know that the rain is a leveler and this proves you dont lose talent overnight. I have no doubt that on a yamaha or honda rossi would once again be fighting at the sharp end, its just a shame that without rain we wont see it this season and oh how motogp needs it.
