The reason for having to swap bikes had as much to do about the correct tire and suspension settings for the conditions but more to do with the need for iron discs in the wet. If you have worn you tires beyond use, swap to a new (if you have any left from the tiny allotment - more tires please) set by changing the wheels and tires on the same bike (can someone confirm if this is allowed?). The bigger headache is this doesn't happen as fast as jumping on a different bike, although if this was really a problem, I am sure they would have adopted designs from endurance racing where the swaps are very quick.

Get a grip chump, I never said I am a THE ultimate expert on MGP, THATS YOUR SAYING, Got it?
All i did was notice what happens everytime Casey Moaner comes out to talk about the championship rules. He always tries to bend the rules in the way it is most convenient for him, and that is a fact.Go and check the news archives and youll notice. I dont like riders like that, so what?Im not the only person who doesnt like this kind of attitude.
By the way, one of the idiots who crashed on last years race was your Dear Moaner... But Id guess you as an high rated expert on MGP would remember that, right?

Yeah, the Bridgestone wets fitted to Stoner bike couldn't find any edge grip off the fairings of Rossi's Ducati as it slid under him so down he went.

Back under your bridge Troll...

All this fuss when stoner tells everyone how great he is on the throttle.
All the riders are in the same boat when it comes to this rule, they just have to ride super smooth and slow down a bit, trouble is smooth aint stoners thing.
Get all round skills moaner,if you cant rag it off the traction control you aint interested!!!

Hmm.. How about Pit Stops. The Isle of Man and Daytona 200 has them. They change the tires in 10-14 seconds.. about the amount of time to remount the bike.
