Rossi situation reminds me of the Freddie spencer spectical...once the bubble has burst theres no way back ..and the better you were , it seems, the harder your confidence falls... ducati will sack him...and hel retire blaming the bike.. its his only way out.... gr8 job call... RDP and nicky..

Looking through the various posts there is a belief held by many that if 1) Rossi was to leave MotoGP the series would fail. 2) Rossi could join F1 and Ferrari 3) Rossi could join Honda. All these ideas are just plain silly. No one rider is bigger than the sport itself. Rossi would be slower than any driver in F1 or GP2 and finally Honda would never in a million years allow him anywhere near one of their bikes be it a works, satellite or WSBK. Rossi fans will have to just face the truth that Rossi is washed up with nowhere to go. Very sad indeed.

Max is a gent! I'm sure he will give Vale a call and give him some kind words. Just as Vale had made the kind and supportive remarks about Max in the past.
Again to be on topic - the call would be about Rossi's qually at Jerez today.

How the hell does Rossi go from a 1:39.733 in testing (add a second and a bit for the not ideal conditions gives a 1:41) to a 1'42.961 today. Anyway you cut it that's at least 2 seconds slower than he should be. Total joke.

Double thumbs up. I love Crash.net. Fantastic as far as news in general is concerned. But i dont agree with their editing, i have been edited on MUCH less offensive posts, than the ones I'm replying to, posted by rossi fans.

Updating an earlier post by someone. Rossi ended up just 0.044secs faster than Marquez's Moto2 fastest time. A truly awful display from a once great champion. He should have known that the game was up at the end of the 2010 season and it was time to retire. Now he has only a undignified exit from a sport he once ruled over. So sad.

I like Nicky, but I'm not going to get excited just yet. 3 Ducatis in 11th, 12th, and 13th, and 1 in 3rd. Nicky got there by putting in just 1 spot on lap, all the rest were a second or more slower. Doesn't bode well for the race.
Having said that it does prove that a Duc can get around Jerez quickly, albeit nearly a second of the pace. I hate the rain, it buggers everything up.

I can't think of anything to say about Rossi!!!

Rossi, you better retire rather than to let people comment about your ability to ride again. Everybody was saying you are wasting ducati money and time . Even crt out perform you . You should retire now.
