as a long-time fan of Rossi i have to say that maybe it's time for him to retire. The slowest Ducati(works or otherwise) and behind CRT bikes show that he is incapable of riding anything other than a bike that's set up just for him. He should have a chat to Carl Fogarty who rode round problems a lot worse that Rossi has. Or then again a chat to the satellite Ducati riders might point him in the right direction. He says he 'knows what to do to go faster'. something seems to work for OTHER Ducati riders...........

“The problem is that I lose a lot of time on the entry into the corners,” said the nine times world champion. “I am not fast enough for putting the bike into the corner and putting the bike to maximum angle.

At least he is not blaming anthing else but himself

“I know what to do to go faster, but unfortunately it doesn't work with the Ducati,” said Rossi.

What he said is - I don't know how to go faster on this bike - it isn't a Yamaha and it doesn't have the electronics to make it go on rails that I am used to - you don't expect me to change my style do you? In short I am slow and don't know what to do.

“My team is in the exact same position. For 30 years with different bikes and all the tricks they do to go faster don't work with this bike.”

The arrogant JB who was going to fix the Ducati in under two minutes nearly 18 months ago actually is limited in his abilities in that he can only "fix" Yamahas and Hondas!

I feel their pain but they have had a few years of pride - now they are experiencing the fall.

Bet he is scared that Nicky will want a division erected in the garage so he can't pinch his data. Of course he wouldn't do that to anyone else would he? Oh of course he did it to Lorenzo !

Look forward to seeing all the support

the Eusosport commentators were suggesting that Rossi was perhaps going slow to 'make a point to Ducati'. In that case they should take the bike off him. I want to see RACERS not politicians in MotoGP.
