im a hardcore rossi fan but today was the gr8est fall for me as a fan.
Problem with rossi-He's above 30 he needs to retire at this age people become mature and take less risks. After Mugello crash vale has done races on safe side. The only thing in his mind is "not to crash".
If u see his sessions from previous year till today he tries to go to limit but as he tries and a little bit of sliping and sliding comes he backs off(U CAN SEE IN TODAYS QUALIFYING 3-4 TIMES HE SAFES HIMSELF).problem is his mindset.
all know duc is not champ wining bike but occasional podiums r possible but rossi has to be 25 :)

Audi, heu... i mean Ducati need to get rid of him and get some young blood in there...

Vr rides the old school way (500cc), today electronic bike don't suit him anymore...

Heroes come and go ...

Kevin Scwhart retire in mid season no shame in that...

if rossi is intentionaly doing this to change engine angle then im quittng as a fan. :(

burges shud also retire todays engineering and software is not made for him .He is from old generation soft tech are not for him.

ban every electronics that help riders like traction control abs etc then we will have real race
Stoner and Rossi will be gr8 to see and ofcourse Pedrosa too.lorenzo is like a hardcoded program he cannot ride without electronics

At this point, why not take a Ducati WSB chassis and stick the MotoGP engine in it, could it be any worse?

I am the only one who thinks that Vale and Simoncelli (GHRS) were on the wrong bikes for their riding style?

Drifter ..your way off course, being in the 500/990/800/1000 he obviously knows what's what with software and electronics because it's all integrated, the problems a fundamental flaw in weight distribution.

you really should hire yourself a guide.

@drifter re Mugello.

I have never looked in to Rossi's stats but one thing I do know is he was on the whole lucky in his riding - not that many falls and not that many injuries from the falls. Maybe Mugello being a big injury for him, got under his skin and in his mind?

Maybe its Rossi's brain that needs the work. Not the bike.

"rossi is totally crap Posted by Darren"
That comment shows several things, ONE that you are a terrible judge of talent TWO that you are such a newcomer that you never witnessed VR's amazing performances in 125's and 250's, and THREE you make sweeping generalisations and not reasoned opinions. VR may be down now but he has spent years on top of the world. Totally crap ? You're totally wrong.
