Are we not having fun ? My dog just told me a little bird tweeted in his ear that Audi/Ducati/Philip Morris/Livio Suppo/Davide Tardozzi/Felipo Preziosi and a number of concerned parties are negotiating behind HRC's back to get Stoner back on board alongside Nick for 2013. Rumoured offer is around 10 million Euros for the season plus the incentive of 1 million Euro per race win which could make the deal worth around 22 million.
Joking. Of course I am,but all the big boys are out of contract for 2013 right now and the silly season will start in earnest as of Monday.

I have to think confidence has a lot to do with it. My mind knows what I'm capable of but my body won't do it and vice versa. We saw the same thing with Ben who had great pace until he almost got run over by his own bike in Qatar. He finished back of the pack. In Rossi's case, though inadvertently, he was a factor in the death of his close friend Super Sic last year. I think if he can get his mind back in a good place he will be OK but it has to be sooner than later.

Come on Stoner, maybe you can ride hard on ducati but that doesn't tell you are better rider than Rossi. You just have 2 WC on your belt, nothing compare to whom you commented on.. Maybe this year you can still laugh at him, but if next year Rossi get a fortune to ride Japanese bike again we will see if you are able to comment like this. Peace.

not only that..didn't nicky just suffer some shoulder crash before the season started. despite all that he rides it well. Oh people saying he might get a japanese bike next year need to think a bit- both factory honda and yamaha have riders capable of matching and even beating rossi on any given track. and then there is his salary, their riders being ok with rossi in the team. Lin jarvis has already suggested he doesn't need rossi. honda? haha

@ Fox44

I'll say it again..

..VR's leg is a non-issue. Did you pay attention to his comeback in 2010?

@ BensPies

Do remember that Rossi was having issues prior to the Simo crash, so I don't think that Simo had as big of an impact as many think.

@Take a peek in the mirror
haha. pedrosa qualifying ahead of stoner in one race makes him better rider? not saying pedrosa is a bad rider but stoner got the job done in his 1st year with the team and pedrosa despite his speed hasn't put the pieces together for 6 years. but good one stoner payback time for rossi's comments in 2010 about stoner not trying hard enough

@rr

People have predicted VR being offered a SATELLITE bike, NOT a factory bike. Nobody has stated anything about VR on a FACTORY bike. Going as far as stating that VR wouldn't be competitive on bikes that WE ALL KNOW he can ride (the Yam's and the Honda's) is a bit extreme and unreasonable.
