Be kinda interesting if stoner wins the title again this year if Ducati dig deep to tempt him back. Now that I would like to see. Stoner back on the Ducati and back on the top of the rostrum would be a magic moment.

It's like I've said before, Stoner is always making snidey comments about Rossi. He wants Rossi to be a complete failure. He cannot get over the fact that Rossi is the GOAT winning 7 Motogp titles. For some reason Rossi is the only guy he hates and that is why. Stoner knows he will never equal Rossi's achievements. Ok, Nicky has got to grips with the Ducati at the moment, it's no big deal, he is a world class rider. He was the champ in 2006 on the Honda. Stoner should be more concerned with his own poor performance, only managing 5th on the grid. Go Dani! Go Jorge! Go Cal! Watch out for that arm pump Stoner!

@Zebra. Please don't be ignorant. Please tell me what rider will push hard on a bike that gives them no feel or feedback. So using your brilliant thinking, everyone should keep pushing even if they don't feel proper grip or control? WOW, im speechless. Again, for the slow people, including amount of "pushing" will result in CONSTANT race wins, CONSTANT being the important word. Zebra, you really think "pushing harder" is going to make up over a second a lap? So are you saying Hayden is not "pushing" as hard as he can? Your logic is so flawed.

Yes - In fact you don't win any championships by being average.

However, every championship winner eventually stops winning and retires. Some bow out at the top, others retire injured, some work their way down the pecking order riding for less and less competitive teams.

Sadly for Rossi that time has come - there will not be a factory bike for him next year and I wouldn't want to witnes the humiliation of a once great rider on a satellite bike.

He will still earn plenty of money (probably more) in another form of motorsport with 4 wheels.

Hayden seems to be getting better and better results on the GP12. If this is because of the improvements which Rossi and Burgess have asked for, then VR and JB are doing a good job. When VR and JB bring the bike to a peak, then we'll see Rossi put on his race face. And then...

Love it! YOu just know that if the shoe was on the other foot,Rossi would be dishing it out to Stoner. Rossi has been the alpha male for an eternity. Stoner is the alpha male and he's sticking the knife in a bit. Now, if Rossi has lost it due to age, which I doubt, he'll be done this year. But if it's motivation etc., Stoner might have done Rossi a favour with these comments, because I bet Valentino will be doing everything he can to prove these statements wrong.
