Lorenzo did a great job to keep the pressure up on Casey and Jorge admitted to having his own problems, but gee, he looked smooth, scary smooth. Mantequilla.

Casey adapted his style toward the end and from the overhead, you could see him park it, pick it up and squirt it out of the corners.

Clearly two permanent aliens now (plus part time member Dani).

I am not a big Stoner fan but I for sure am not anti Stoner.
But the race was not half bad. Stoner showed style and poise. Under pressure from Lorenzo, he pulled it all together and did what was necessary. He even threw in a few passes. Lorenzo had nothing for him. I do have to say the acceleration out of a corner of those Hondas is nothing short of obscene. No matter what line Stoner picked good or bad that Honda just ran away from that Yamaha. But the Yamaha did seem better under braking. No matter what Stoner did good.

Congrats on a brilliant and very entertaining win Casey!! You are a true Champion! You are sheer poetry in motion!
I grinned as much as you did!!

It was great to see Nicky up the front shaking that monkey off his back, until his tyres went off! He rode hard, he worked his butt off. Good to see him not afraid of giving the bike a fist full and actually racing!!

Re: 'However. for once people should understand that it is the bike not the rider'

I must disagree. Yours theory does not hold up when you look at Casey results on ducati to all other ducati riders (during the period when Casey rode the Ducati).

It is always the rider / bike combination.

Ted, forgot to add the gap in meters increases with speed, the gap in seconds stays the same.
Thus, an inexperienced viewer may get impression the bike in front is faster in acceleration and slower in braking.

CRT's 30 seconds behind.
CRT's didn't racing, they almost look like doing parade.
CRT pitting in the middle of the race.
Stoner untouchable even he had some problems.
The crowd looks fewer than last year.

Oh no, must should we do?

Its time to unlocked the BFG !!

"I see too many Rossi bashers.Sounds like these comments are coming from "DOWN UNDER"

Sounds like you are the one with prejudice, assuming Rossi bashers are from Down Under. How absurd - I'm from down under and a Stoner fan, but have been a Rossi fan for years (sad to see him so uncompetitive for whatever reasons) don't mind JLo either. And technically it should be looks or reads like the comments, as you cannot hear print!

What amazes me is the most potent bashers always claim that any negative comment is from an "opposition fan", and yet in reply they bash other riders as well as their fans perceived nationality.

Some people cannot appreciate the spectacle for what it is, and the people with the skill to provide it!

@ Rossi Stoned...I did not post any picture. XXX did whoever that is. I assume that Rossi, sportsmanlike as he is, insisted on a handshake on the cooldown. I just assume the picture is dated correct...
