Ah, some folks have always got the downer, always on the defensive, no wit, no sense of humour.
Have you noticed how some fans are often like their rider?
Tetley (running and ducking!) Smiley Face, lads!

Lorenzo, as quoted on Motorsport-Magazin, commented on the rumours: "I wouldn't mind at all. I work for Yamaha, and if there was another fast rider on the machine, we could improve our overall chances of success."

Responding to Lorenzo, and trying to calm the rumour-mill, Rossi said: “I'm very grateful to Lorenzo and in this difficult moment he's the only rider who still respects me and I appreciate it, but it's still too early to talk about next season, we still have to make the Ducati work, that is our goal.”

I would be happy again!

I am currently oversensitive, as I have just been for a life threatening experience but this unexpected but totally deserved win by Stoner made by very sad as it dictated the end of the championship.

Yeah, yeah, Stoner is superior to the rest, but only just, I supposed, so that he would loose at jerez and estoril and he would have to keep working at races... unfortunately not, he won at jerez and he will soon be leading the championship... End game!

Sad indeedjavascript:insertTextCursor('comment',%20'')

For those who spend there time trying to bag Stoner I have put these quotes for you to consider
Carlo Pernat, the former Aprilia sporting director and first man to sign superstar Valentino Rossi, said Stoner was unfairly criticised as he fought illness and injury in recent years.

The Australian won the 2007 world championship for Ducati but Pernat says seven-times MotoGP titleholder Rossi will never win another world crown while on the same bike.

Stoner left Ducati in disgust
Rossi is a past champion I hope rides at the front again yet personally I am sick of all the rubbishing that is being given either to casey Rossi or any other rider By fanboys

Stoner is on the best bike.
The best engine, the best gearbox, the best team, the best race engineers, the best R and D engineers, the best management.

Stoner is the best rider.

That is why he gets the best, bike, engine, gearbox, team, race engineers, R and D engineers and management.

:-) Makes me smile.

Some here actually indirectly indicating that the Honda currently is not the best bike on the grid and instead that the Ducati is a championship winning bike. Rossi "has lost it and should quit", a 650000 Dollar gearbox that does not make a lot of difference that all of a sudden everyone seems to have for free...sure, sure.

Whatever one likes to believe is true and makes one happy...put on "octopus garden" from the beatles and take a spin on your bike. Put a smile on your face.

Sorry for Stoner's health issues...that s***s

Who ever said Stoner is NOT a good rider? I did NOT. Don't read to much inbetween the lines...

Clearly, Rossi can't seem to adapt to the Ducati and Stoner rode is a*** off on the bike at the time, leaving when he had the chance.

Even side-ways-Hayden can only run close to the front while completely ruining his tyres. It may be the best Ducati he ever had but it ONLY tells you how BAD the thing was before. Hats off to Stoner...

The Ducati is NOT competitive.(period) the moment
