no, you made the proper choice given the conditions and data available. nobody's saying it isn't a gamble. however fitting a full rain tyre...? now THAT would've been a mistake.

Fair comment from Lorenzo. Given the Tech 3 boys performance, there's no doubt in my mind Lorenzo's assessment is bang on.
Arm pump cost Casey in Qatar, tyre choice cost George today. Thats all.
It is an absolute pleasure to watch the 3 aliens acknowledge each other pre race and post race. No fanfare,just nuts and bolts and mutual respect.

Lorenzo had the same front tyre as Stoner, so it was the same for the both of them. The only difference between the two was that Stoner had arm pump and Lorenzo didn't... yet Stoner still won.

Lorenzo was slapped by THE DADDY today.
