This explains a lot.

Neil Spalding (MotoGP technical guru) spoke of Rossi's quick performance in the wet on friday, on europosrt, "When Rossi drives a bike, he finds the limit almost straight away, where as the other guys take, perhaps, a day to catch up and find the limit"

That's pretty impressive...

Yeah he found fresh hope @ how many seconds behind the actual race lap time? Go Nicky! At least you're not afraid to race, like you're being paid to do.

rossi pushing it to its limit? was listening to doohan the other night he said rossi clearly wasn't pushing it to its limit, not even early in the race like nicky was. The best test rider on the best bike? ye i would agree with that.

The penny has dropped!...after a year or so.

Too much catering to VR. Just give him a bike and let him learn to ride the damn thing. Let the talent do the work.

Sounds promising for better results to come.

Hopefully he can start a little higher on the grid and fight for a top 5-6 but not holding my hopes, can't seem to get to grips with a new tyre in qual
Fair to say he performed much better almost on par with Nicky but still WAYYYY of the pace. A positive vale ain't a bad thing though
The bike only has a chance in the wet with Nicky and rossi pushing to the absolute the limit.
